Anti-Reflection

VisiClear™ is Visimax’s family of high-performance anti-reflection (AR) coatings engineered to reduce surface reflections and maximize optical transmission. These coatings are designed for consistency, durability, and production scalability, supporting applications ranging from commercial imaging to aerospace and defense systems. All VisiClear™ coatings are produced in-house using controlled vacuum deposition processes, with a first-time-right manufacturing philosophy focused on repeatability, accountability, and long-term performance.

Beam Splitters

Beam Splitter Coatings Visimax designs and manufactures precision beam splitter coatings engineered to divide light with controlled reflectance and transmission while maintaining optical performance and durability. These coatings are produced in-house using controlled vacuum deposition processes, with a focus on ratio accuracy, uniformity, and repeatability. Beam splitter coatings are available across visible and infrared wavelength ranges and can be applied to a variety of optical substrates and component geometries.

Optical Mirrors

Scientifically-Developed High Performance Mirrors Great mirrors don't merely reflect - but they need to be built to stick and built to last. Visimax re-engineered its lineup of mirrors in 2023 to meet the demand of higher durability mirrors to perform in Space applications. Our silver mirrors have been deployed as thermal control mirrors and laser communications reflectors in Space. Our gold mirrors have also been optimized for superior durability and adhesion. And our Protected Aluminum and Enhanced Aluminum mirrors have been in-demand in the semiconductor manufacturing industry for over two decades.

Conductive Coatings

Visimax provides Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) transparent conductive coatings engineered to deliver reliable electrical conductivity while maintaining high optical transmission. Our ITO processes are optimized for repeatability, uniformity, and production scalability across glass and temperature-compatible polymer substrates. ITO coatings are produced using ion-assisted electron-beam PVD with tightly controlled oxygen partial pressure, enabling consistent electrical and optical performance for demanding applications.

Protective Coatings

Surface Performance Coatings Visimax Surface Performance Coatings are functional thin-film layers engineered to enhance the durability, cleanability, and handling characteristics of optical components without compromising optical performance. These coatings are commonly applied as final top surface layers and are compatible with Visimax’s full portfolio of optical coatings. Surface Performance Coatings are designed and manufactured in-house using controlled vacuum deposition processes, with a focus on repeatability, durability, and system-level compatibility.
